Our Core Commitment:UPITools.in is architected from the ground up so that your payment details, Virtual Payment Addresses (UPI IDs), transaction amounts, and uploaded QR images never leave your local device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

When you use our UPI QR Generator, Payment Link Generator, Amount Splitter, QR Decoder, or UPI ID Validator:

  • No UPI IDs / VPAs: The Virtual Payment Addresses you type into any tool form are kept purely in your browser's memory.
  • No Financial Amounts or Notes: Transaction amounts, rupee values, and payment notes are processed locally.
  • No Image Uploads: When decoding QR images with our QR Decoder, the image is loaded into an HTML5 Canvas and inspected by JavaScript executing on your machine. The image file is never uploaded to any server.
  • No Identity or Account Data: We do not offer or require user registration, logins, passwords, or phone numbers.

2. Technical Verification (How You Can Confirm)

You do not have to take our word for it. You can independently verify our zero-transmission architecture at any time using your browser's built-in developer tools:

  1. Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I / Cmd+Option+I).
  2. Switch to the Network tab.
  3. Fill out the UPI QR generator form and click Generate QR Code.
  4. You will observe that zero outbound HTTP requests carrying your UPI ID or payload are dispatched. All rendering is performed directly on the client canvas.

3. Web Hosting & Server Logs

Like virtually all web hosts, the servers delivering our static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files may log standard technical web server requests (such as your IP address, browser User-Agent header, requesting page URL, and timestamp). These logs are standard network protocol records maintained for DDoS mitigation, load balancing, and infrastructure uptime, and contain no user payment inputs.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

UPITools.in does not set advertising cookies or track user behavior across different websites. We do not use persistent identifiers to track individuals.

5. External Links

Our website may contain informational links to third-party resources, such as NPCI documentation or payment app platforms. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of external websites.
